A systematic review and meta-analysis investigated differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and their underlying molecular mechanisms in FecB mutation-related high ovulation, focusing on the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis. To identify relevant articles, a search was performed on PubMed, EMBASE, CNKI, WanFang, and CBM databases, targeting mRNA sequencing of various tissues in the HPG axis of sheep, with differing FecB genotypes, all published prior to August 2022. The six published articles, in conjunction with our experimental findings in the laboratory, uncovered a total of 6555 differentially expressed genes. In the treatment of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), eculizumab stands out for its efficacy. In light of the danger posed by life-threatening meningococcal disease, the extended duration and financial implications of treatment, initiation of therapy is subject to strict selection criteria. Eculizumab's real-world application and effectiveness in the Netherlands was assessed via a multicenter, retrospective cohort study involving 105 Dutch PNH patients, gathering data on treatment indications and outcomes. All patients began eculizumab therapy, adhering to the Dutch PNH guideline's outlined criteria. Based on recently released response criteria, 234% of patients experienced a complete hematological response, while 532% showed a good or partial response, and 234% a minor response after 12 months of therapy. During the prolonged follow-up, the response in the majority of patients remained consistent and stable. The response groups demonstrated a statistically significant variation in the degree and importance of extravascular hemolysis (p = 0.0002). Pollock's justly recognized work on cosmopolitan orders and the processes of vernacularization in Latinity and Sanskrit prompts a comparative and global-historical line of questioning. Focusing on the wave of vernacularizations seen in the early modern Ottoman Empire, especially within the context of the Persianate cosmopolitan order, I will raise such questions in the 17th and 18th centuries. New philological learning forms, native to the vernacular, appear to have been instrumental in the vernacularization process. Leveraging Bourdieu's theoretical framework, I intend to analyze the Ottoman cosmopolitanism, viewing it as a pre-modern manifestation of linguistic control, and vernacularization as a counter-response. In contrast to Bourdieu's analysis, I will posit a genealogical approach, one that is attuned to pre-modern non-European philological traditions and the historically contingent interplay between (philological) knowledge and power.
